The Visit

First I will call, email or zoom call you for a meeting with all the participants.

Or I can make a house call – keeping safe and following Covid government guidelines

Funeral Services

Being able to help people who are facing what is probably the hardest time in their lives is an enormous privilege.
Over my career I have worked in various ways with those facing bereavement, and finding caring and creative ways to say goodbye to those they have lost.  I have been doing this as a celebrant for the past 14 years.

By giving someone who you love a fitting farewell, you can know that everything possible has been done to honour them.  It is also the first step in finding your own path onwards without them as a physical presence in your life.

To plan the ceremony that is exactly right, I will meet with you and talk through every aspect of the funeral or memorial, so that it can be absolutely personal and fitting for you and your loved ones. If you would like me to I can help you to write your own words, or I can talk to you and write a tribute for you.  The words can be read by family members, friends, or I can read them on your behalf.

By taking the time to choose the appropriate words and music for your loved one’s ceremony we make sure that it is an occasion that everyone can look back on with satisfaction of knowing that we have done right by them.

My aim is to make this whole process as comfortable and easy for you as it possibly can be.  I will visit you, or meet you at your funeral director’s office if you prefer.

I will take time to find out about the person we are saying goodbye to, so that the ceremony is as personal as it possibly can be.

I will prepare a script and be there on the day to support you and your congregation as you say goodbye.

Memorials

I can help you to plan the ceremony, write it with you, help to find music that fits the occasion.  I will be there with you on the day to help make it run smoothly, and allow everyone involved to feel able to do what they want and make it meaningful for each person.
Whatever your plans..

Baby Namings

Welcoming a new child into your community of family and friends is an important and joyous occasion, and a secular ceremony is a memorable way to mark the event.

By spending time talking to you and getting to know your family I can devise a unique ceremony to introduce the new member and celebrate the parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends as you all undertake the responsibility of raising, and supporting a small person with the love that they deserve.
