Memorials

Many families want to have a memorial.  This might be because not everyone was able to attend a funeral, or perhaps it was not possible to have one at all.  A memorial ceremony might coincide with the scattering or interring of ashes, or it may simply be gathering to celebrate the life of someone significant to you.

In these days Covid has often meant that families couldn’t be together when the death occurred, and so it could be an ideal way to mark such a major event, and allow everyone to feel that they have had an opportunity to say goodbye in their own way.

A memorial can be held anywhere that seems right for you.  It might be in a private garden, it could be a sports club, or the local pub, or any other place that is meaningful to your family.  It might involve a symbolic gesture such as planting a tree.
